I have a friend who is a master home roaster and he substitutes Guatemalan beans for Brazilian in his roasts often with great success. Also if you want to blend two very different beans for a roast that is fine - just roast them separately and you can achieve amazing effects.

Oh, I'm not trying to replace brazil beans, I'm looking for different Brazil as my current stash of brazil is gone.
